My recent stay at Sittardsberg offered a mix of old-world charm and modern convenience. The Executive room, situated in the newer part of the hotel, was clean and tidy. However, the mismatch in TV sizes left me perplexed. The lack of air conditioning meant leaving the window open, which compromised comfort. Nevertheless, the accommodating staff, fluent in English, always wore a smile. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, catering to various tastes.The hotel's convenient location, with parking facilities and a train stop at its doorstep, adds to its appeal. However, the dated mattresses detract from the overall luxury experience. Despite this, the value proposition is evident, especially for budget-conscious travelers. With a little modernization, such as new mattresses, Sittardsberg could become a prime choice for those seeking a balance between affordability and comfort.
